On Wednesday 4th November our year 11 learners were invited along with their parents to attend the first progress evening of the year.  Here they had the opportunity to speak with the subject teachers about progress towards GCSE target grades.  To support the progress evening we had a careers fair running in the bistro.  This was made accessible to the whole of KS4 and the year 10 students were invited with their parents.  With over 200 people in the building there was a real community spirit across the academy.  Colleges from across the Manchester region were invited to speak with our students and help support them in making decisions about their future careers.  This provided an opportunity for parents and students to meet Colleges, Training Providers and Employers and find out about a wide range of opportunities available after school.
